Drum Lessons
Jamie offers Drum Lessons for all ages and abilities from beginners to more advanced players either in person or online.
Lessons will be tailored to suit the student and what they want to learn/achieve.
Lessons can cover a range of different areas such as:
- Learning how to play along to your favourite music, artist and bands.
-Reading and performing to Drum Music/Notation
- Undertake graded examinations from grade 1 through to grade 8 (Rockschool and Trinity available)
- Learning to use various hand and feet techniques on the kit to develop skillset.
- Play with Musicality and feel.
- Rudimental Studies.
- Learn to play in a wide variety of different musical styles from rock, pop , blues jazz, reggae , latin and more.
Jamie is fully DBS checked, public liability insured and a member of the Musicians Union.
Online Drum Lessons available via Zoom.
Most in person drum lessons are held at Basement Studios. A fully professional music studio located in Wimborne Minster. Visit the link below for more information about the studio.
Jamie is also able to travel to students residents for lessons during morning and early afternoon hours (between 9am-2pm) Monday to Friday subject to availability, providing students have there own drum kit set up however an additional fee may be charged on top of the lesson rate to cover fuel/travel time.

£25: 45 Minutes
£30: One Hour
Terms and Conditions
Lessons are to be paid for by Bank Transfer or Paypal either before or on the day of the lesson.
Where possible 24 hours notice of a lesson cancellation should be given. Full lesson fee is payable if no cancellation is given.
